Trinidad and Tobago is a country that, despite being located only 11 kilometres from Venezuela, does not establish many commercial relations with this country. There are not direct flights to Europe either, although there are flights to the United Kingdom via Saint Lucia. The Trinidadian dollar (TTD) is the local currency in Trinidad and Tobago and it does not have purchase or use option in other countries, so it is highly likely that you cannot exchange your Trinidadian dollars abroad. For that reason, we recommend you to exchange the local money you have left before travelling back to Europe.
You can use this voucher in your next currency exchange transaction, at any of our branches within the same country. This discount is applicable on the exchange margin and it does not expiry.
If you still have doubts, you can ask any of our agents at the Customer Service Department.
The accuracy and seriousness that drive our transactions make this situation very unlikely. However, if this happens, we will proceed to replace the banknote in that very moment.
Besides, for the safety of our Customers, Global Exchange records the serial numbers of banknotes in such a way that counterfeited notes can be detected, or in case a Customer has a complaint, we can check whether it came from our branches or not.
